So, how is the digital distro on Xbox Live working on this? Game comes out at midnight tonight at retailers, so are you presumably able to purchase and download it on XBL then, or did GameStop's conniption fit about digital pre-ordering/pre-downloading push the time into the morning hours of the 11th?

Just some thoughts on campaign mode, did the first IMC half. Not REALLY spoilery but whatever. Seems to me to be very much like Brink. Do some missions while people yell things. It's a little bit more interesting, there are things like AI titans and little cinematic pieces going on, but nothing that you can really interact with. With the exception of the last 2 or 3 missions/maps it just seemed like it was pretty much hey play this gametype. Win or Lose the story just keeps going like if the battle didn't even matter in the first place.
I'm not really complaining or anything. I wasn't expecting much in the first place. But I would have wanted at the very least a little glossary or something so can have an idea of who these fools are, the history of the planets im fighting on besides "hey this one has dragons and this one gots alot of fuel."

Is there any deviation from the regular multiplayer modes, or is everything literally Deathmatch/Territores/CTF matches with a story veneer?

There are some titan bots but 80% of the time they explode minutes into the match. There aren't different modes outside of attrition and domination. |
