Nope. Only launch game that really interests me is Sunset Overdrive. I'm not eager to buy another Xbox after their dismal E3 showing, and with reduced game time I think one console is the way to go. Since it's cheaper and has more exclusives I will want I'll be going PS4.

Yeah, at this point I still have them both pre-ordered through amazon. Waiting it out, but actually leaning towards ps4 only at this point.

I got mine pre-ordered along with a copy of Forza 5. Not sure what else, if anything, I'll pick up right at launch. Maybe COD? Is Watch Dogs a launch title? If so, definitely that. Titan fall is next year, right?

I have both preordered as well. I was drifting PS4, but lately I've been drifting back to Xbox. I just don't care for a lot of Sony's offerings, and Xbox has the better track record with things like multiplayer.

With the reversal of all the shit policies they had in place , not that they particularly a deal breaker for me , has the Xbone looking much better. I dont have one preordered , doubt I will , but I will be getting one , prob beginning of 2014/spring. Reason over the ps4 ? Ive been invested in the xbox since day 1 , I gots history, plus I just dont give a fuck about all the weeaboo exclusive the PS consoles get.

Titanfall's gonna be on PC, gettin' Titanfall on PC. DR3 will eventually go PC. Titanfall also isn't out until early(possibly later) 2014.
Halo ain't coming day 1 for that thing, neither is Gears(if at all, series might be dead as of current gen).
So that leaves Forza(never liked it enough to have it drive a console purchase) and Killer Instinct(could be good or could be the next Kabuki Warriors). I'll try grabbing one maybe holiday 2014 when real games come out for it. Haven't had Live since the beginning of the year and haven't missed it for a second.
Also god forbid the first run of these systems are QA'd as poorly as the 360 was. Fuck even getting involved in that potential mess.

Sweet, finally some hard information about XBLA in the brave new world. Setting up a "home console" for your account so you can purchase from anywhere is pretty cool. It beats having to use that license transfer wizard.

I am sure I will both new consoles eventually, but am spending most of my time on the PC and have only been using the 360 for Halo and streaming. I'd like a shinier Forza but can't really justify it at the moment.

I watched the Major Nelson unboxing they have up on the 360 right now... and I have to say it didn't settle in just how big the new Kinect was until I watched that. I thought he had pulled out the power brick. I mean looking at the pics now, I see that it's to scale in everything they've shown but for some reason I just thought they were zooming in on that piece of hardware to better show it. The new Kinect is huuuge.
Also applause to MS for dropping in a HDMI and Headset in the box.

I used the Kinect mic once for a Halo game because I couldn't find my headset. I couldn't hear anyone over the sounds of gunfire coming over my speakers and people kept complaining they could hear my game through the Kinect.
Also, the HDMI thing isn't that surprising to me since they're going HDMI only and, traditionally, console makers have always included at least a bare minimum to hook the unit up to the TV. I mean, I geuss they could go the route printers took which was to sell you the device and leave it up to you to get the cable, but MS already has a history of bad press and consoles, so I think they're trying to avoid that whole issue of parents giving little Billy a Xbox for Christmas and WHAT DO YOU MEAN I NEED A FUCKING CABLE?!?!
Though, props to them for going HDMI 4.0 compatible and not just chunking in an HDMI 2 or 3 cable and calling it a day. I also like they put on an IR blaster port for the 1%ers who have massive home theater setups.

Headsets have always been included for the X360 I think, though there was some talk at E3 that the Kinect's noise canceling abilities would make it fine for chatting and you wouldn't "need" a headset. People translated that to no headset included. |

Doesn't mean that it'll be unbundled yet.
Although MS has been changing their stance on everything else lately so I guess it is possible, but it wouldn't seem to fit with the rest of their integrated strategy.
