Oh god, I found two Sam Adams Utopias in Florida. Probably going to blow a stupid amount of money right quick. "suggested retail price of $160 per bottle" good lord

But I did find some Raywerks Coffehouse Stout.

This was my beer for my break after Christmas. I enjoyed all of it. The BOOM wasn't much on the actual chocolate side of things but it was a good strong porter. The Game of Thrones beer is only for people who like black licorice (which includes me), but most others should steer clear. Hoppin Frog nailed it again for a Christmas beer, so good. Southern Tier stouts are ALL good. Sam Smith's Chocolate Stout is a regular purchase for me. I still have the Holy Sheet left, which I'll admit I bought entirely because of the name.

the game of throne beer is great , based on nothing but the brewer that makes it , and that Ive actually drank it. Also , Sinjis , excellent grab there , man. Ive had everything there but the far left selection.

You didn't buy the Game of Thrones beer based on name? Nope! Bought it because it said Ommegang... Stout... Licorice... Anise. The name is a major bonus.

I thought GRRMBrew was only OK. Choklat on the other hand, is the bee's knees.

I thought GRRMBrew was only OK. Choklat on the other hand, is the bee's knees. A fair assessment. I enjoyed the Take the Black Stout for the black licorice flavors, but most people hate that stuff. I love it though. That said the beer was good... not great. And Choklat is... better than great.

I had Stone's Punishment over the weekend. It was an experience, but I can't say I recommend it.
It was like drinking a bomber of bourbon barrel-aged hot sauce.

Had a couple bottles of the Founders Imperial Stout from 2012 , seeing that the 2013/14 batch has come out I decided to get into the old and new to compare. This beer is absolutely made better by cellaring, I still have at least one or two of the 2012 and Im totes keeping it back for another year or so. The new batch is extremely boozy , which aging def will calm down, I highly recommend grabbin a 4 pack or more if ya can , to have and save. So good.

Local pub had a keg of the Game of Thrones Blonde Ale going over the weekend so I tried a chalice of it (since that is obviously what they were serving it in lol) www.ommegang.com/got/iron_throne.phpSurprisingly good! I'd definitely recommend a bottle of it.
